Women’s Media Center Announces New President!

The Women’s Media Center, a non-profit advocacy organization working to make women more powerful and visible in the media, announces their new president Jehmu Green!
“We are very proud that she will be building on the strong foundation established by Carol Jenkins, our founding president, to lead The Women’s Media Center to the next level,” says WMC Board Chair Helen Zia. Jehmu Green has years of experience working with the media to create social justice movements. Her list of accomplishments is long and includes being a commentator on CNN, MSNBC and Fox News along with leading the organization Rock the Vote to success by increasing its membership, from 1500 to over 1 million.
Perks is looking forward to working with Jehmu Green and the organization and to launch the new WMC website later this month!
